File Sizes

  • Smallest unit of memory is byte. Byte is a set of 8 bits.
  • 1 Byte = 8 bits. A bit stores only one value 0 or 1. 1 means on or true 0 means off or false. We have 8 bits for a byte because all the alphabets are stored in 8 bits.
File sizes:
  • Different types of files are text files, documents, images, videos, audios, executable files, etc.,
  • Different image format sizes...
  • Different file formats sizes...
  • File sizes are very important to store in the computer memory and also in cloud memory like web page images, audios and videos etc.,
